Announcing my candidacy

Today, I filed papers to run for the position of  tax assessor  on the Portsmouth Water and Fire District Board, with the election to be held Wednesday, June 13.

I'm running because I care deeply about our environment and our town. Ensuring that safe, clean water is delivered to all the district's customers in an efficient and cost-effective fashion matters deeply to me. You can read more about the work of the  Water District here.

Before I retired, I spent 22 years as an IT Project Manager, so I have a lot of experience analyzing budgets, interpreting technical documents, reviewing plans, and working with teams to make decisions. I want to put that expertise to work for our town, and I ask for your vote on Wednesday, June 13.
